Hannah Margaret Talley

	Hannah Margaret Talley, age 95, of Pinckneyville, died Friday, April 9,, 2004 at 8:35 a.m. in the Pinckneyville Health Care Center.
	Hannah was born on March 24, 1909 near Pinckneyville in the Four-Mile area, a daughter of William G. and Eliza Joan (Rule) Maxwell.  She was united in  marriage to Virgil Talley on November 10, 1930 in Paducah, Kentucky and he preceded her in death on November 24, 1989. 
	Hannah was a graduate of Pinckneyville Community High School, Class of 1929.  During her lifetime she was a member of the United Methodist Church of Pinckneyville, where she served on numerous committees, including the funeral dinner committee.  Hannah began work in her father's electrical shop.  She also worked as a telephone operator, a sales clerk in several stores and a homemaker.
	Survivors include two daughters, Marsha Segedy of Dallas, Texas and Marilyn Dinkins and husband Don of Pinckneyville; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Warren (Rick); four sisters, Wilma Alleen Maxwell, Pearl Brown, Clementine Javaux and Jane Dunbar and a brother, Ellis Maxwell.
	Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 14 at 3 p.m. in the United Methodist Church of Pinckneyville with Reverend Jim Barnett officiating.  Interment was in the IOOF Cemetery, Pinckneyville.
	Friends called at the United Methodist Church on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until time of services.
	Memorials may be made to the Pinckneyville Health Care Center activity fund.
	Arrangements are by the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville.
